As the Demi Chef in Garden Kitchen & Bar, you will be responsible for supporting the leadership team, motivating the team, and ensuring consistency in high-quality product and service standards.
A few of your responsibilities: Monitors stock levelsEnsure the quality and consistency of all food leaving the kitchenMentor and develop the Commis' and Apprentice Chefs in the brigadeWhat are we looking for: Chef experience required in a 5-star environment or large restaurantFull work rights and flexible availability over a 7-day rosterExperience driving quality and consistency,
with a passion for a diverse range of food and a keen desire for continuous learningPrevious experience with quality control in production and preservationAbility to ensure a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness within the kitchensAbout you: With your passion for turning local ingredients into delicious dishes and a natural skill at bringing the best out of the team around you, you will be pivotal in shaping the success of our popular Garden Kitchen & Bar at The Star.
