**Position Overview:**






Marathon Petroleum is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Remote Client Relations Manager to enhance client satisfaction through strategic relationship management and ensure the optimization of our customer service. In this part-time role, you will leverage your extensive experience and leadership skills to cultivate relationships, resolve client inquiries, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. This position operates remotely, allowing you to collaborate with colleagues around the world while exhibiting a confident and proactive approach to your work.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- **Client Relationship Management:**
- Develop and maintain deep, trusted relationships with key clients and stakeholders to strengthen client loyalty and retention.
- Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries and concerns, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
- Conduct regular check-ins with clients to assess satisfaction and collect feedback for service enhancement.

- **Strategic Planning & Implementation:**






- Collaborate with the sales team to identify new business opportunities and develop strategies for client engagement and expansion.
- Analyze client data and trends to inform service delivery and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and implement client engagement initiatives aimed at enhancing the overall client experience.

- **Communication & Reporting:**
- Prepare and deliver comprehensive reports to management regarding client feedback, trends, and service effectiveness.
- Facilitate communication between clients and internal teams, ensuring the alignment of client expectations with service delivery.
- Organize and lead client meetings, conference calls, and presentations to communicate updates and address client needs.

- **Leadership & Training:**






- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members on best practices in client relations and service management.
- Advocate for a customer-centric culture within the organization through training and workshops.
- Champion the implementation of training programs designed to enhance service delivery skills among staff.

- **Process Improvement:**
- Identify opportunities for process improvement across client interactions and work with relevant teams to streamline operations.
- Monitor industry trends and competitive landscape to ensure that Marathon Petroleum remains a leader in client service excellence.

- **Collaboration:**
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, finance,





and operations to ensure a cohesive approach to client service.
- Foster a collaborative environment that encourages the sharing of insights and practices across the global organization.

**Requirements:**

- **Education & Experience:**
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in client relations, account management, or a related role, preferably within the energy or petrochemical sector.
- Proven experience in leading teams and driving client engagement strategies.

- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
