Graybar Electric is seeking a dedicated and passionate Remote Client Support Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this part-time position, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional support and service to our clients, while working in a rapidly evolving environment. As a member of the Graybar team, you will be instrumental in ensuring client satisfaction and loyalty by effectively addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and fostering strong relationships.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- **Client Interaction**: Serve as the first point of contact for clients via telephone, email, and chat; actively listen to client needs and concerns, and respond professionally and timely.
- **Issue Resolution**: Diagnose and troubleshoot client issues and inquiries effectively, providing clear instructions and solutions; escalate more complex issues when necessary, while following up to ensure resolution.
- **Client Relationship Management**: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, actively engaging in discussions to understand their needs and promote client satisfaction and loyalty.
- **Documentation**: Maintain accurate records of client interactions and issues using our CRM and ticketing systems; ensure all client inquiries are documented and tracked for follow-up purposes.
- **Product Knowledge**: Acquire and maintain comprehensive knowledge of Graybar Electric's products and services to provide informed and accurate support to clients.
- **Team Collaboration**: Work closely with team members and other departments to share information, create solutions, and enhance overall client experience; participate in team meetings and contribute to best practices.
- **Continuous Learning**: Stay updated on industry trends, company policies, and best practices; participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to improve skills and service delivery.
**Qualifications:**
- **Experience**: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer service or support role, preferably within the electrical, construction, or telecommunications sectors.
- **Education**: High school diploma required; a degree in Business, Communications, or a related field is a plus.
- **Technical Skills**:
Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite; ability to quickly learn new software applications and platforms.
- **Personal Attributes**: Passionate about providing excellent customer service; driven to achieve results and contribute positively to the team and company objectives.
- **Soft Skills**: Strong people management skills with a focus on emotional intelligence; ability to empathize with clients and manage diverse perspectives.
