The hotel offers impressive event and banquet facilities, including a highly flexible and sophisticated pillar-free hotel ballroom that can accommodate up to 1,000 guests for a seated event, a Victorian-style ballroom, and eight smaller function spaces.

About The Departments:







The Place Kitchen, the Hotel's signature all-day dining kitchen, is responsible for the three main meal periods, cuisine through in-room dining and the lobby bar, and production for the Executive Club. Keen to produce best-in-class food for a five-star hotel through fresh, seasonal ingredients, our team thrives on making memorable guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes for both all-day dining and à la carte services.
- Ensure food quality, consistency, and presentation meet the highest standards set by the restaurant.
- Maintain a clean, organized workstation, following all health, hygiene, and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with senior chefs and the kitchen team to ensure efficient kitchen operations, especially during peak service times.
- Contribute to menu planning, daily specials, and new recipe development under the guidance of the senior chefs.

Requirements:

- Previous experience working in a fast-paced,





high-volume all-day dining or à la carte kitchen.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment with a strong commitment to delivering excellent guest experiences.
- Flexibility to work a 7-day rotating roster, including weekends, evenings, and public holidays.
- A minimum of 2 years experience in a kitchen environment.
- Full working rights in Australia
