The UTS Business School's educational programs aim to build knowledge and enhance professional practice by promoting scholarship, research, and executive education in all the key business disciplines as well as in several specialised areas. PLUS UTS Business Futures (PUBF)
PLUS UTS Business Futures sits within the Business School and provides enterprise solutions to large Australian private and public sector organisations and open enrolment short courses. They are responsible for leading the design, development,
and delivery of corporate/executive education programs with B2B clients from all sectors. Solutions are customised for each client's requirements using tailored future-focused content and learning design (blended and technology-enabled). They are also responsible for the development of UTS Open programs and short courses for individual learners.
About the Role
The Project and Operations Officer will contribute to the smooth operation of UTS Plus Business Futures and coordinating effective program delivery through project coordination and effective administrative and operational support.
If successful in applying for this role, you will be responsible for:
- Implementing client program delivery in line with UTS Plus Business Futures, Business School and the wider University strategic priorities.
- Coordinating all elements required to execute programs - monitor workflows and systems whilst working with clients, facilitators, venues and third-party suppliers to ensure logistic, venue, catering and learning environment components run as scheduled, on time and budget.
- Providing effective and efficient operational and administrative services UTS Plus Business Futures (finance, human resources, records management, contract and invoice preparation and follow-up, data entry).
- Identifying opportunities for operational improvement, propose solutions and drive positive change in the team's practices.
- Collaborating with UTS Business School marketing team on design and production of print and digital marketing collateral.
- Working collaboratively with Director, UTS Plus Business Futures and Managers, Client Relationships and Enterprise Learning on desktop publishing and design of proposals in line with UTS branding guidelines.
- Managing social media content development and web content management
About You:
You are an organized and detail-oriented professional with experience in coordinating learning programs and higher education projects. With a strong administrative background, you excel at managing project timelines, stakeholder communication, and workflow efficiency, ensuring all tasks are completed on time and to the highest standards. You are proactive in your approach, delight in exceeding client expectations and enjoy working in a fast-paced, team environment.
You will have:
- Strong administrative skills and attention to detail
- Experience in the coordination of executive education or other learning programs
- Client engagement experience and strong interpersonal skillsSkills in in income and expense tracking against a budget
- Undergraduate degree in Business with some experience in the education training sector,
or completion of an Advanced Diploma qualification and at least two year's subsequent relevant work experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.

Remuneration & Benefits
Base Salary Range: $80,044 to $91,570 pa (HEW 5)
This role attracts 17% superannuation (pension) in addition to the base salary.

This position is full-time and appointment will be made on a fixed term basis for 12 months.
