About the Role:

At Allianz, we are committed to driving innovation and excellence in the insurance industry. We pride ourselves on being a market leader and delivering exceptional value to our partners and clients. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as the Head of Sales Office.

You will develop, drive, and execute Consumer Partners sales programs, including partner segmentation and growth strategies, to drive performance in line with our financial plans and outperform the market. You will also be responsible for leading the strategy and sales practices to our clients nationally and within individual states, driving partner engagement plans, and establishing operating rhythms between distribution teams and partnerships.

Other key aspects of the role:







- Leadership: Leading the sales office function to drive outperformance and ensure Allianz is a market leader in the intermediate consumer segment.
- Strategy & Segmentation: Designing strategies around “where to play, where to win” within the partner segment to win new partnerships and retain existing partners.
- Implementation: Implementing sales plans and practicing all aspects of strategic selling to achieve retention rates and new business targets.
- Business Development: Leading the business development of new and unexplored intermediated consumer segments.
- Strategic Capability: Strengthening strategic capability for sales planning & performance, including sales call plans, annual and quarterly business reviews,





and ongoing relationship management plans.
- Team Leadership: Leading and developing the national sales team focused on the Consumer Partners “Digital Tier” partners and ensure efficiencies of scale by way of centralization.
- Consultation & Advice: Co-creating and consulting on sales opportunities with partners, providing expert advice to deliver the best possible distribution solutions.
- Engagement: Leading and managing business engagement opportunities, including sales conferences, partner events, reward and recognition events, and internal engagement events.
- Compliance: Ensuring all sales programs adhere to our internal policies and procedures, such as the Allianz Customer Protection Standards.
- Governance:





Providing regular oversight on all partner governance issues to relevant leadership teams to ensure adherence to our internal policies and frameworks.

Important to your success:

- Extensive General Insurance industry experience.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and grow a complex portfolio of accounts.
- Experience in developing high performing sales teams.
- Good technical knowledge of relevant lines of insurance and all associated legislation.
- Adept at proactively building and maintaining professional relationships and networks to enhance industry positioning, exchange knowledge, and elicit beneficial outcomes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of communicating with audiences at all levels with clarity, impact, and influence.






- Ability to proactively identify business risks and assess and reduce the likelihood and impact.
