We have an exciting opportunity for a customer-focused, people-loving Cafe Manager to join our passionate team!
The successful applicant will lead our dedicated Cafe Team. This hands-on role suits a positive, driven, vibrant and enthusiastic person seeking long-term stable employment.
We're seeking a lover of hospitality who understands it as a means to bring people together with a genuine desire to create and enable community and excellent customer outcomes.
The applicant will be passionate about leading a Team of Service, Specialty Coffee and Kitchen professionals.
We offer a unique, seasonal, locally sourced menu alongside our delicious Speciality coffee range. We also offer a limited but thoroughly interesting booze offering focusing on local Natural Wines, Craft Beers.

They will be able to balance honesty and empathy within the team setting allowing for open and constructive conversation in both the day-to-day environment and the strategic setting.

They will have an understanding of P&R; and be able to identify areas of cost savings and or growth opportunities. In addition, they will understand strategic resource allocation and its ability to impact the store’s performance.
They will possess high emotional intelligence and be dependable. They won't need to be motivated as they will naturally exude passion for achieving results.
They will be fast on their feet,
able to multitask and not afraid of getting stuck in. They will understand what it means to be a team player and will take delight in being part of a forward-thinking team of Hospitality professionals.

Day-to-day operational tasks include
- Overseeing, leading and allocating Service Staff resources.
- Lead both Kitchen and Coffee Department Leads enabling them to achieve their Team goals and KPIs
- They will oversee the store's Leadership Team (Head Barista, Head Chef, and Service Supervisor). With all department leads reporting to this role.
- Overseeing the purchasing of products that sit within the Service department remit.
- Execute and evolve our Service SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) striving for excellence in the context of the venue.
- Overseeing the store’s Social Media and Digital engagement channels (Instagram, Facebook, Google, Trip Advisor, Zomato etc)
- Overseeing and maintaining third-party apps such as ME&U;,
- Developing, leading, catering and event opportunities.
You will be the representative of the P&R; Brand in-store, the custodian of its positing and representation within the Cafe environment. This responsibility needs to be taken seriously.
All duties aim to wholly and strategically facilitate an amazing customer experience. Currently, we’re only trading Monday-Friday (thanks to Covid) but in the medium term,
we aim to resume weekend trade once conditions are right.
Ultimately, the highest priority for this role or any role in our store is to be a critical part of ensuring an amazing customer experience is had by anyone who enters our venue. You will do this by utilizing every available store, staff and brand resource at your disposal.
Remuneration will be based on experience. A competitive Salary Package will be on offer.
Current RSA, PR and full working rights are essential.
