About the Role
Toyota Material Handling Australia (TMHA) is seeking an experienced Field Service Forklift Technician to service the Bundaberg region .
In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out a range of maintenance services including planned maintenance, repairs, and modifications to a wide range of Toyota Forklifts and other industrial equipment.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Conduct mechanical repairs and maintenance of customer units, which includes preventative service and break-downs in a timely manner.
- Able to maintain accurate records of job sheets, timesheets,
and any other administrative components.
- Maintain a professional level of customer service with all TMHA clients and customers.
Qualifications, Requirements & Skills:
- Current Manual Driver's licence.
- Relevant trade qualification (Forklift Mechanic, Automotive Electrician/Light Vehicle Mechanic, Heavy Vehicle, Plant, Diesel Mechanic).
- Forklift Licence & LPG Certificate would be an advantage.
- Previous experience within the forklift industry or similar in an associated industry.
Can Demonstrate:
- Good diagnostic and repair skills.
- Strong work ethic and self-motivation.
- Well-developed mechanical aptitude.
- Good time management skills with the ability to work independently.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Willingness to participate in training programs to increase your product knowledge and understanding of procedures, safe work practices, statutory responsibilities, and licensing requirements.
