Claims Support Officer | Sydney or Melbourne location | Part-time opportunity (25-30 hours per week)

The primary purpose of this role is to provide administrative support to the National Liability Claims team to ensure claims are managed in a timely and cost-efficient manner in alignment with the business unit's objectives.

You'll be responsible for:

- Supporting the National Liability Claims team with day-to-day duties of claims administration, demonstrating high attention to detail.
- Completing and sending letters, arranging appointments, sending emails and other administrative duties as required.
- Liasing with both internal stakeholder and external stakeholders and suppliers to establish and maintain effective and appropriate administrative processes.
- Manage applicable work queues / mailbox tracking all necessary actions to ensure deadlines are met.
- Handling the financial aspects of claims, including processing payments, banking and assisting with internal claims processes.






- Actively contribute to the achievement of business targets and participate in departmental projects as required.

- Able to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- An ability to operate effectively and efficiently in a dynamic environment by managing a high volume of tasks and activity through exceptional time management and priority planning strategies.Keen attention for detail, completing tasks with thoroughness and accuracy and with the ability to quickly identify errors or inconsistencies within information.
- Strong customer service skills and being able maintain a calm and professional approach
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, combined with the ability to balance understanding, empathy, and compassion.
