Applying your technical expertise + commercial acumen in advising/creating strategies to protect + enforce the patent rights of your blue-chip local/international clients.
Key responsibilities include:
Drafting and prosecuting patent applications in the engineering and/or ICT fields.
Advising clients in relation to patent portfolio management, infringement, and patentability issues.
Assisting in patent oppositions and/or patent litigation.

WHO YOU ARE We are interested in hearing from you if you:
Have a minimum 24 months’ post-qualification experience (up to Senior Associate level) as a registered Australian/NZ patent attorney [or are an overseas qualified patent attorney currently nearing qualification in Australia/NZ].
Have a degree or higher qualifications (e.g., Masters/PHD) in mechanical engineering or similar.
Have strong analytical + technical skills/knowledge.
Have some hands-on experience in prosecuting/drafting patents (desirable).
Have outstanding communication, time management, and people interaction skills.
