The company
Our client is a well-known and trusted national distributor of LV electrical consumables. You will be representing a genuine market leader that is highly regarded and widely used across Australia and internationally.

The position
This role will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the nominated range of products. Key areas of focus include – introduction of new products, product development, inventory management, pricing, sales & support tools, technical training, marketing campaigns and customer visits.

To achieve this,





you will need to have a strong technical electrical background, ability to work autonomously and take ownership of your work, great communication skills and a desire to provide exceptional service.

Duties include:

- Manage the Category Portfolio through the complete lifecycle of the products. Specifically emergency lighting, lighting control and test & measurement products.
- Developing the product brief/specification for new products and develop companywide go to market plans & roadmaps
- In collaboration with Marketing & Sales, establishing category strategies for your product portfolio to ensure financial targets are met
- Oversee and manage supplier relationships.
- Run quarterly strategic supplier meetings to discuss global and local trends, competitors, and customer insights.
- Prepare Costing & Financial statements to complete Business Cases for financial approval and order placement by Purchasing.

Skills & experience required:

- Electrical background is essential, ideally within the Lighting or test & measurement space.






- Knowledge of category lifecycle strategies and methodologies.
- Business acumen and knowledge of business finance.
- Ability to communicate with a variety of stakeholders – both internal and external.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
