Development and execution of sustainability strategies
Part time opportunity working for a global leader in property
Work within the iconic Rocks & Darling Harbour precinct

We have an opportunity for an ESG & Sustainability Manager to join our high performing team working with our major client Placemaking NSW.
Located at The Rocks and Darling Harbour, you will play a pivotal role in implementing the Sustainability Strategy and Environmental Management Plan across the portfolio, with a particular focus on waste management and meeting our net zero targets.
You will work closely with the client, precinct tenants and our broader ESG and Property Management teams.
This role is offered on a 3 day a week part time job share arrangement until 30th June 2025 with a view to extend.
- Here’s a snapshot of your day;
- Management and delivery of sustainability ratings, ESG benchmarking tools and reporting requirements
- Engage with facility managers and the events team to develop cost effective solutions to reduce energy and water consumption and waste to landfill
- Assist with technical and commercial aspects of sustainability upgrades and tenant fit out proposals
- Assist with green leasing requirements and advise on social sustainability initiatives
- Assist with educating tenants and visitors to the precinct on sustainability
- Monitor and advise on legislative changes impacting the client and CBRE
- Assist with the development and analysis of detailed reporting and statistics
- Oversee the NABERS rating program for the portfolio
- Monitor compliance to Commercial Building Disclosure
- Provide Green Star advice and management where necessary
- Here are some of the strengths you’ll possess and the background you’ll need to be successful;
- Previous experience and qualifications in Sustainability, Environmental Management, Engineering or Property
- Exposure to energy and water audits, NABERS ratings, building upgrades or Green Star is an advantage
- Broad knowledge of environmental legislation, ESG principles and sustainability rating and benchmarking schemes
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
