Portfolio Director Westpac Banking Corporation Sydney, Australia
- Manage and deliver a large portfolio of risk and regulatory projects within the program to time, budget and quality.
- Manage the interdependencies between large transformation projects and other programs with in the Westpac group.
- Deliver strategic compliance capability to the Westpac Consumer bank for Tax and Financial Crime.
- Manage the PMO for Financial Crime Delivery for the Westpac Consumer Bank, including budget and initiative prioritisation of ongoing business enhancements
- Establishment and management of delivery frameworks between the Consumer Bank, Program deliver and technology.
- Management of supplier contracts with technology providers and outsourcing partners.
- Ensure projects are managed appropriately across the program.
- Advise of program issues, risks, assumptions and dependencies
- Establish stakeholder management plan and communication framework
- Ensure regular and appropriate communication
- Ensure the projects within the program meet the needs of the customer and business and is aligned to the overall strategy

How will I help?

What do I need?
- Extensive demonstrated experience in project delivery or program management the role and is working independently in complex situations and tasks.
- Prior experience leading large matrixed teams with in financial services and program delivery.
- Extensive experience working on financial crime and tax compliance programs
- Good knowledge and application of industry frameworks (Agile) and professional standards.
- Prior work experience in Workforce Strategy implementation
- Proficient stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex ideas and concepts.
- Demonstrated knowledge of risk management and assurance concepts.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Flexibility and resilience in responding to changing priorities.
