What you’ll be doing
We are seeking an experienced applied scientist to contribute to the Australian Fire Danger Rating System (https://www.afac.com.au/initiative/afdrs). Working as part of a multidisciplinary research team,
you'll help develop and implement indices which assist fire managers understand the risk of bush fires, the capacity of firefighting resources, and possible impacts of bush fires. Your contributions will play a pivotal role in shaping policies and initiatives that protect communities, infrastructure and the environment from current and future bush fire impacts.
