The role of the Treatment Applications (TA) Specialist, APJ is to provide expert sales support, sales training and expert advice on Elekta ONE Treatment applications in Region Asia Pacific & Japan (APJ) as the customers embark on their Treatment Planning System journey with Elekta. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the sales excellence, configuration standards and expert Treatment Applications to aid the sales and marketing of Elekta ONE Planning solutions for Elekta’s new and valued customers, distributors, and strategic partners. This position will drive sales excellence in Elekta ONE Planning, help end to end consultation,
configuration and optimization of the customers Elekta ONE Planning Systems in standalone and bundle needs as required. This will be conducted in conjunction with the Regional Oncology Software solutions team, regional sales leadership, local sales teams and the regional Clinical marketing team to ensure customers configurations and offerings are optimal for their needs and capabilities. Responsibilities – Drive accomplishment of Regional P&L; targets and growth ambition for the Oncology Software Solutions Business Line with focus on Elekta ONE Treatment Applications offerings. Develop regional and local sales/adoption strategy for the Elekta ONE treatment applications solutions business in conjunction with business line, regional and local sales and channel partners. Set and guard local price development based on solid win-loss analysis. Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with customers to support the promotion and sales of the Oncology software solutions in particular with Elekta ONE treatment applications, always in full alignment with global and business line strategies.
Consolidate the voice-of-the-customer and needs of the Region to the Business Line for input into the product development and strategic prioritization processes. Provide expert sales support for Elekta ONE treatment applications across the region: events, site visits, value propositions, sales projects and expert tender & RFP responses. Provide input to Regional Marketing team to help drive Life cycle management business including the service business and services development such as SaaS adoption and professional services. Provide input, segmentation targeting & content development to Regional Marketing team to help the opportunity generation process through targeted campaigns and programmes. Help set business line direction for budget process and LTP,
drive and set guidance for regional pricing for treatment applications and Elekta ONE planning. Manage regional PR in close collaboration with Business Line and Global marketing. Educate regional sales and distributors in the positioning/messaging/value propositions of the Oncology Software Solutions business. Support market data collection such as customer needs, competitors, pricing, market share and market trends. Work with Internal Elekta teams to ensure customers issues are dealt with from a holistic point of view to ensure issues in an efficient manner. Work with Clinical Marketing to help develop strategies to drive usage of Elekta Planning systems.
Help drive & run Monaco Academy’s across the region and follow-up with Customers identified that require greater assistance. Identify potential upgrades opportunities at customer sites to a view to upsell. Review Customers solutions as required from a technical point of view to ensure the customers are setup and maintained for optimum usage. Work with key customers to support and maximize their adoption of Elekta’s treatment Planning solutions to drive Customer Satisfaction. Work with Clinical Marketing team to ensure Customers adopt new release software versions. Ensure knowledge of Elekta products are maintained and best practises are introduced to customers by working with Global teams. Ensure Knowledge of Competitor products to demonstrate to customers the value of the Elekta software Solution. Work in conjunction with Sales/Marketing,
Business Line and Product Specialists to drive product usage across Region Asia Pacific and Japan. Provide Guidance to Internal and External customers on the technical aspects of solutions integration. Attend conferences and client meetings as required. Attendance at conferences for continued professional development Act as subject matter expert and mentor for regional ESCS team to ensure TPS applications and physics issues are handled in a timely manner. Communicate with clients and their representatives, IT Departments, integration teams, clinical teams, and field support staff, etc. as required Provide marketplace feedback, including competitive information, customer expectations, industry trends, etc.
Drive efficiency programs identified by self or others within Elekta. Incorporate Elekta Values into all departmental functions and responsibilities. Promote continuous improvement and be a change agent. Perform other related duties as assigned or requested Authorities –

Bachelor’s Degree (Radiation Therapy, Dosimetrist or Medical Physicist or equivalent knowledge acquired through business experience.) Minimum 6 years relevant experience in Treatment Planning software solutions Technical understanding of Elekta’s Treatment Planning software solutions Ability to use appropriate manner, personality,
and outlook to effectively work with customers to solve their problems. Solid knowledge and experience of the medical devices industry. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Skilled speaker and representative in social contacts. Strong multi-tasker and experience covering a broader region. Fluency in English. Comprehensive knowledge of computer tools / IT skills. Ability to work autonomously. Excellent team player at all levels and strong interpersonal skills. Strong knowledge/understanding of Elekta's product portfolio. Demonstrated strong business comprehension and acumen. Strong in building and maintaining customer focus and customer relationships. Results oriented, operative with excellent analytical skills. Strong ethical standards, values, and good judgement. Persistent,
enduring and prepared to make strong personal commitments. Able to travel for around 50% to 60% of time within Asia Pacific, as driven by requirement.
