About the Role
BOQ Group is seeking a dynamic Senior Manager to lead and coordinate our culture and engagement strategy. This role will modernise BOQ Group’s listening strategy, ensuring our culture narrative, including Risk Culture, is seamlessly integrated into the Group’s strategic transformation.
By leveraging external research, industry insights and BOQ Group data, you will ensure our culture change plans align with our target state culture.
In this role you will lead various culture change activation initiatives, including recognition of programs, culture and engagement action planning and the code of conduct. Additionally, you will provide support and expertise to prioritised culture transformation initiatives,
such as leadership, change management, and credit practices, ensuring our people practices are embedded in target state culture.
Reporting to the Head of Leadership, you will collaborate with Group Communications, Business Partners and colleagues across the People & Culture function to embed this narrative across all communication channels. You will also work with Group Technology to fully leverage our Microsoft partnership, including Microsoft Viva suite, to support culture change and generate insights.
About you

You will hold a degree in Human Resources or a related field. You should have significant and proven experience in leading culture transformation initiatives in a similar setting.
Your commercially and business acumen will be crucial in impacting outcomes within the Banking and Finance Industry.
You will have demonstrated experience in consulting with HR Business Partners to align HR strategies with organisational goals, driving sustainable business outcomes. Your expertise in utilising HR Experience Analytics platforms, conducting comprehensive data analysis, and providing business insights will be essential.
We are looking for someone experience in seeing initiatives through from idea to implementation. Your strong coaching and influencing skills will inspire and motivate teams and business leaders to achieve culture change. You should also have facilitation capability, with experience in facilitating development or strategic alignment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, are a must.
You will need to build relationships, influence stakeholders at all levels, and collaborate strongly across teams. The ability to communicate to senior audiences with clarity and impact is essential.
Finally, you should have a strong knowledge of contemporary People & Culture practices, organisational development and culture transformation.
