Position Overview
Details of the Division and Team:
The Leveraged Debt Capital Markets (LDCM) team is a critical segment of the Investment Bank and overall Corporate Finance business.
Our Corporate Finance business provides the full range of products and services of a leading global investment bank. Our clients include large-cap and mid-cap corporates, financial institutions, governments, government agencies and financial sponsors.
The LDCM team operates as part of a global platform and works closely with large sponsors and corporates to raise capital for acquisitions, growth, refinancings, and other strategic priorities. In this role, would be expected to work with industry coverage partners, global leveraged finance and syndicate teams to originate and execute high yield bonds, large sponsors financings, and other acquisition financing products.

Your key responsibilities:
- Participate in the origination and execution of global leverage capital market financing (i.e. HY bonds, TLBs, bridge to bonds, acquisition bridges) mandates
- Deal team member contributing to day-to-day execution processes including in-depth financial analysis, credit analysis, due diligence, capital market analysis, and industry analysis
- Prepare high quality marketing presentations
- Due diligence of clients and markets
- Deal documentation and internal approvals
- Handling day to day client queries on all execution related matters
- Attend client meetings including execution and pitches
- Collaborate with colleagues across the business, including other Investment Banking sector teams, global colleagues, and corporate bank to drive delivery of Deutsche Bank’s broad global platform
Your skills and experience:
- At least 2.5 years of Corporate Finance experience; leveraged finance and capital market experience preferred
- Strong financial modelling skills and commercial acumen are critical
- Detail oriented with strong quantitative and analytical skills
- Highly motivated and self-driven with ability to multitask
- Ability to take initiative with strong critical thinking skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
