who are still engaged in school and who present with complex or moderate to severe mental health problems and reside within the Bankstown LGA. We work in a diverse and multicultural community, and you can be part of an innovative and cutting edge team. ICAMHS is a Tier 3 service, referrals are accepted from primary clinicians and professionals who have been involved with the child and or family. What You'll be Doing This position provides specialised and evidence based neuropsychological assessment of patients/consumers with a wide range of disorders/diseases with potential cognitive and/or behavioural implications, for the purpose of assisting with clinical management, determining specific competencies or facilitating discharge planning. The role also participates in the evaluation of clinical outcomes of services and assists in the development and provision of education and training programs. Additionally, the role supervises Psychologists and other disciplines working within the LHD according to organizational needs.

Full registration as a Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia. Completion of an Australian Psychology Accreditation Council accredited postgraduate Clinical Neuropsychology qualification of no less than two years full time duration or recognised equivalent. Demonstrated knowledge of psychological issues that can arise with inpatients and/or outpatients (including community consumers as per service), presenting for neuropsychological assessment and where necessary, appropriate onward referral for management. Demonstrated knowledge of the quality improvement process for service development, implementation and evaluation. Experience working as part of a multidisciplinary team with a high level of autonomy, self motivation, and organisational and time management skills.
Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills and computer literacy. Supervision experience of interns completing post qualification studies in Clinical Neuropsychology if appropriate to level of experience.
