Sound NSW is a new office in State Government established to drive the growth and development of the contemporary music industry. As the Communications and Engagement Manager (Sound NSW) you'll spearhead industry engagement for the 10-year Contemporary Music Strategy. Your role will be pivotal in fostering relationships, optimising engagement activities, and enhancing investment and employment opportunities within NSW’s vibrant contemporary music industry. In this role you will: Drive industry engagement activities to support the 10-year Contemporary Music Strategy,
led by Sound NSW. Shape and implement innovative music industry engagement plans, collaborating within the team and across government to ensure cohesive messaging. Manage and attract key stakeholder relationships with a focus on diverse perspectives and interests. Regularly review and enhance engagement activities to maximise their effectiveness and impact. Utilise exceptional storytelling to generate positive media coverage and dynamic social media content, boosting interest and investment in Sound NSW programs and initiatives. backgrounds are encouraged to apply. About You To be successful within this role, you will have: Proven expertise, experience and relationships in the contemporary music sector. A track record of leading successful engagement programs with diverse stakeholder groups, including industry, government, and community. Demonstrable experience in storytelling through PR/communications, content and social media strategies Skills in using and maintaining systems and databases, with the ability to analyse data and provide actionable insights for strategic planning.
