About the Opportunity The Level 3 Occupational Therapist Team Leader position is responsible for ensuring a high level of service delivery and management of the outpatient services for Bankstown Occupational Therapy. The service includes Palliative Care, Hands, Post Acute Rehabilitation Service, Lymphoedema and general community occupational therapy. What you'll be doing The senior occupational therapist provides clinical governance, leadership and expertise within occupational therapy services including the provision of safe, timely, compassionate and high quality person-centered care. Where you'll be working Bankstown-Lidcombe Hospital is located in the city of Bankstown and is in one of the most multicultural local government areas (LGA) in Australia. This hospital has tertiary affiliations with three universities and offers a range of roles and experiences to employees. The hospital receives highly diverse presentations in ED as well as having general medical and surgical services and sub-specialty services across the hospital.

Recognised Degree in Occupational Therapy or other qualification deemed appropriate by the employer, with registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Demonstrated advanced clinical skills and significant experience in the provision of occupational therapy services within outpatient services Demonstrated experience in the identification of evidence based practice and/or development of treatment protocols 4.Demonstrated experience participating in the planning,
implementation and evaluation of local service delivery incorporating the quality improvement process. Demonstrated high level organisational and time management skills Demonstrated experience in the provision of clinical supervision, mentoring of staff and/or students Excellent written and verbal communication skills and computer literacy in a range of programs Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2). Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment.
