What you'll be doing Join WSLHD to shape the future of Nursing & Midwifery. In this role you will be responsible for: Driving the Nursing & Midwifery Workforce Strategic Plan and manage workforce issues. Collaborating with health bodies on policies and industrial matters. Overseeing and innovate rostering systems and performance strategies. Developing key relationships for effective workforce planning and policy implementation. Essential Criteria: Registration: Current authority to practice as a Registered Nurse/Midwife with AHPRA Selection Criteria: Demonstrated management and leadership experience in the public sector including appropriate relevant post graduate qualifications, and/or work experience deemed appropriate by employer. Demonstrated high level leadership within the workplace including the ability to form productive working relationships through high level communication, negotiation, facilitation and conflict resolution skills. Demonstrated high level project and change management skills and the ability to use diagnostic tools and interventions including information technology platforms. Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams.
Excellent time management skills, with an ability to work under pressure and deliver on strict timelines. Demonstrated commitment to own professional development in areas relevant to health management and leadership. Demonstrated knowledge of roster creation and management skills, including recruitment management experience, and knowledge of workforce systems within health.
