About the role The Executive Officer plays a lead role in the coordination of high-quality strategy and policy guidance for the Offices of the General Manager and Lord Mayor to ensure alignment between operational objectives and the Wollongong Community Strategic Plan outcomes.
The role contributes to our commitment to outstanding community service through effective engagement and productive relationships with local Members of Parliament, relevant Ministers, and other key stakeholders, to progress Council priorities.

This position works across the organisation establishing strong relationships and using connections to identify and manage information pathways which assist the General Manager and Lord Mayor in their roles.

There will be a keen focus on resolving complex customer and stakeholder matters in a political environment.

Salary up to $149,496 per annum, plus superannuation (Salary package will be assessed based on skills, experience and qualifications).







About you We are looking for a degree qualified candidate with significant experience in executive support and stakeholder management in an elected representative or executive environment.
