About the Role The Teaching and Learning Support Officer (TLSO) is responsible for delivering high-level administrative support to the faculty's subject coordinators to assist them to fulfil their teaching responsibilities.
The officer is also responsible for ensuring the faculty's processes relating to examinations, assessments,
and results administration, as well as various student progression matters, are efficient and comply with the University's policies and guidelines.
If successful in applying for this role, you will have a specific focus on: • Overseeing finalisation of session marks, providing assistance to the Faculty's subject coordinators, as well as working closely with the Director (Students) and Associate Dean (Education) to troubleshoot any matters of concern.• Coordinating the Faculty's processes relating to student progression matters, such as academic caution, appeals against exclusion, maximum time to complete, student misconduct, etc.
The successful candidate will also:• Provide subject delivery support and advice to subject coordinators.• Review and update relevant Faculty information on various Faculty platforms.• Respond to student enquiries directed to the Teaching and Learning Support Team.• Assist subject coordinators and Faculty stakeholders to correctly conduct the faculty's assessments.

Ability to work both independently under general direction, as well as within a multi-functional team environment.3.
Highly developed organisational skills including an ability to exercise flexibility and prioritise workload to meet strict and often conflicting deadlines while maintaining high attention to detail.4.
Ability to absorb and effectively advise key stakeholders from a large knowledge base, including providing interpretations and making decisions based on university policies and procedures.
Remuneration & Benefits Base Salary Range (1FTE): $80,044 to $91,570 pa (HEW 5) This role attracts 17% superannuation (pension) in addition to the base salary.

This position is part time (0.5 FTE, 2.5 days in a week) and appointment will be made on a continuing basis.
This role will start mid/late Jan 2025.
