Policy and Planning Team
- Location - Haymarket (CBD)
- Employment Type: Temporary Part-time (3 Days) - Talent pool Creation
- Salary - Clerk Grade 9/10 $120,859 - $133,183 pa plus employer's contribution to superannuation, annual leave loading
Your role
This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to a diverse array of projects. You will have the chance to develop, manage, and implement various policies and initiatives within and across Corrective Services NSW, all aimed at enhancing service delivery and support. You will be joining a highly focussed team,
who are innovative in their approach and very committed towards developing a safer community.
What you'll do
- Research and advise on complex policy issues, developing options aligned with Government directions.
- Engage stakeholders to identify solutions for effective policy decisions.
- Contribute to the implementation and evaluation of policy initiatives.
- Oversee project management, including monitoring plans, coordinating resources, and managing budgets.
- Support project team members in executing tasks and plans.
- Prepare project documents for stakeholders, including updates, policies, reports, and budgets.
- Assist in developing project management methodologies for Corrective Services NSW.
What we're looking for
- Knowledgeable in strategic policy development, implementation, and project management methodologies.
- Proven ability to conduct research and make evidence-based recommendations.
- Experienced project manager with excellent time management and organisational skills
- Strong persuasive communication and interpersonal skills,
with a track record of influencing stakeholders.
Essential Requirements
Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience.
