We are seeking an experienced, confident and creative Wedding Sales Specialist to join our team at Metropolis and Q Events, some of Melbourne’s most prestigious wedding venues. We've just been awarded Wedding Venue of the year for Victoria and Tasmania by RCA.

About the Role:
As a Wedding Sales Specialist, you’ll help couples navigate the journey to their dream wedding,
guiding them from the initial consultation to securing the date and handing over to their planner. You’ll interact with a wide range of clients, including discerning parents, as well as more down-to-earth, relaxed couples. Your ability to quickly build rapport, adapt your style to match your audience, and maintain a clear, focused sales approach will ensure you’re their trusted advisor from start to finish.
What You'll Bring:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in wedding sales, luxury events, or high-end sales.
- Natural confidence in communicating with all types of clients, from polished professionals to easy-going personalities with a budget.
- A creative approach to sales, finding unique solutions to meet the client’s vision and create one-of-a-kind wedding experiences.
- The ability to stay focused on results, with a genuine eagerness to close the deal and help couples secure their perfect date.
- Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring every aspect of the booking process is seamless and leaving the couple feeling confident.
- A proactive,
problem-solving mindset that simplifies decision-making for brides and grooms, helping them feel calm and assured during what can be an overwhelming time.
- A friendly, approachable demeanour that clients can rely on to guide them through what’s often a confusing or stressful process.
- Integrity and ownership, ensuring every couple feels heard, respected, and excited about their special day.
- Ability to Empathise and simplify the venue selection process helping the clients out of the Overwhelmed state
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with brides, grooms and families, understanding their unique needs and vision for their wedding.
- Adapt sales presentations and consultations to fit each client’s personality,
whether they’re seeking luxury, elegance, or a more relaxed vibe.
- Provide clear, simple guidance, helping clients make decisions with confidence and ease.
- Ensure every detail of the booking process is handled smoothly, with a meticulous approach that builds trust and credibility.
- Consistently meet sales targets while delivering top-tier service that makes clients feel special and valued.
