Pelicano will be reopening its door this month, ushering in a new era of Sydney night life.
Newly located in the heart of Potts Point, Pelicano will be delivering a restored and reenergised concept, harbouring a strong focus on its food and beverage program, offering up a light and approachable Mediterranean/Italian influenced menu, as well as donning a vibrant and invigorating late night scene.
We are on the hunt for an experienced and enthusiastic full-time Duty Manager to help lead,





coordinate and nurture our team. The Duty Manager is responsible for supporting the Food & Beverage (F&B;) team to ensure exceptional service for members and guests. This role focuses on motivating the team, managing costs, and maintaining high operational standards.
Key Responsibilities: Provide outstanding customer service to members and guests, upholding company values of positivity and excellence.Lead and motivate the team to promote productivity and teamwork.Build positive relationships with members and guests to foster a friendly club environment.Ensure clear communication between the kitchen and front-of-house staff during service.Train and develop staff to enhance skills and performance.Enforce Responsible Service of Alcohol and compliance with public health orders.Address member and guest complaints,





reporting issues to senior management.Monitor staff efficiency and maintain a positive work atmosphere.Support stock ordering and inventory management within budget.Conduct bar openings/closings procedures and manage payment handling.Ensure cleanliness and presentation of bars and club areas.Adhere to Work Health and Safety regulations and demonstrate safe work practices.Assist with member check-in and communication with other departments.Perform other related tasks as required.What You'll Bring: RSA certification.First Aid Certificate would be ideal.Minimum 2+ years in a hospitality management role.Experience with POS and rostering systems.Strong customer service and communication skills.Excellent organizational abilities and deadline management.Strong leadership and team management skills.Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends,





and public holidays.Strong problem-solving skillsYou will have a strong food and beverage focus with a passion for delivering high service standards and a propensity for fostering relationships with repeat guests and ensuring customer satisfaction.
