The Role

We currently have a fantastic and challenging career opportunity for a motivated Conference & Events Coordinator to join our dynamic Sales & Marketing Team.

We are seeking an outgoing, detail oriented, proactive conference and events coordinator with a great sense of humour to join our highly successful, well regarded and driven Hotel Sales & Marketing Team.

This entry level role will be required to:

- Manage conference and events from initial enquiry through to post-event feedback
- Achieve monthly sales targets and telemarketing goals through proactive selling efforts
- Maintain and develop business relationships
- Effectively communicate event needs to all hotel departments
- Ensure all events run as per professional standards of the hotel
- Assist the Conference & Events Manager, MICE Business Development Manager and Director of Sales as required

Skills and Experience

- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills






- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritise and manage a variety of tasks
- Experience in a similar hospitality role highly regarded
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel an advantage but not essential
- Eagerness to learn client management software (Previous experience using Opera and Delphi desirable)
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment as well as part of a focused and dedicated team
- A positive, solution-oriented attitude, and the ability to think on your feet
