THE ROLE
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Senior Account Executive to identify and develop new business opportunities with potential enterprise customers. You will build and manage a robust sales pipeline, cultivate strong relationships, and contribute to Shippit’s long-term business growth.
DAY TO DAY
- Manage Sales Pipeline: Oversee the entire sales process from lead generation to closing deals.
- Market Penetration: Increase Shippit’s presence in the enterprise segment by targeting retailers similar to Kmart, Myer, Harvey Norman, and Cotton On.
- Solution Selling: Position Shippit's SaaS solutions and logistics expertise to merchants across key verticals.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Professional Services, Shipping, and Product teams to develop customer-centric solutions.
- Client Engagement: Conduct regular on-site and virtual meetings to identify, qualify, and close opportunities.
- Relationship Management: Collaborate with stakeholders at all levels, from end-users to C-level executives.
- Account Planning: Create and execute account plans for each merchant,
driving key business and technical objectives.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
- Experience: Proven sales experience as a Senior Account Executive in the SaaS enterprise sector.
- Industry Knowledge: Understanding of the retail and eCommerce industry, including logistics and fulfilment challenges.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation skills focused on value and differentiation.
- Team Collaboration: Positive energy and a collaborative team player.
- Complex Sales Management: Experience managing complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders.
- Attention to Detail: Demonstrated meticulousness in managing accounts and processes.
- Technical Proficiency:
Advanced proficiency with Google Workspace, Linkedin SalesNav and Salesforce CRM.
