Overview
By joining our Trader Education team as a Coordinator, you will be part of an energetic and motivated team that directly impacts the growth and success of our firm. We are looking for someone who is smart, resourceful, collaborative, and can thrive in our fast-paced, dynamic environment.
This opportunity will allow you to leverage your administrative skills to support the team in the development of new hires. As a Coordinator, your main responsibility will be to support the coordination and facilitation of intern and new hire education. This will involve communication with managers and employees to ensure all education sessions are scheduled properly and running smoothly. We are looking for an upbeat,
organised individual who can multi-task and assist our team with a range of office and business activities.
What you’ll do
- Assist team members and coordinators in the planning and execution of education sessions
- Distribute weekly calendars and reminders to teachers and students for upcoming sessions
- Organise and distribute class material
- Prepare classrooms and conference rooms for upcoming live or virtual education sessions
- Track attendance for both onsite and remote sessions
- Interact with the recruiting department to help facilitate and schedule interviews for trading candidates with the Education team and traders
- Interact regularly with our Human Resources, Learning and Development, Employee Services and Immigration teams
- Assist with employee questions and office transfers
- Assist with the planning and coordinating of department events and travel
- Attend events such as group dinners and social events in Sydney
What we're looking for
- Minimum of 1 year of professional or intern experience as an administrative assistant, coordinator, or similar role
- Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced team environment
- Pleasant personality and positive attitude
- Excellent oral, written, and telephone communication skills
- Superior time management and organizational skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to maintain highly confidential information
- Strong proficiency working in Outlook or other scheduling systems, Word and Excel, required
