Your new role
An exciting opportunity to join our Global Reinsurance Underwriting Operations team as a Reinsurance Administrator,
where you’ll be part of a team that places the reinsurance protections for Australia Pacific (AUSPAC) as well as provide insightful research, analysis, and strategic recommendations. The team establishes a supervisory framework to efficiently monitor and manage the Group’s risks through reinsurance, ultimately contributing to shareholder value.
Reporting to the Senior Reinsurance Portfolio Manager, this role will support key activities, including reinsurance placement, portfolio management, and data-driven decision-making. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone early in their career who is eager to develop their skills in a specialised area and learn all there is to know about reinsurance.
In this role you will:
- Support the development of reinsurance placement strategy and assist with portfolio management.
- Support the production of the Group's reinsurance information, including data management, procedures, and controls, along with preparing reports, presentations,
and data quality documentation.
- Manage resolution processes with global stakeholders to address system or data issues.
- Assist in the future development of reinsurance systems/solutions.
- Collaborate with the team to achieve Group reinsurance reporting and monitoring objectives while establishing and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.
About you

- High degree of numeracy and excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to use and interpret numerical data.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other analytical tools.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
