The Role:
We are seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth and expand market presence.
This role requires an experienced professional with a deep understanding of aluminium finishes, ready to leverage existing contacts to attract new customers while nurturing current relationships.
The position offers the potential for advancement to a National BDM/Sales Manager role.
You will be provided with support with marketing as well as other support team members such as customer service.
This role will also require you to meet with customers face to face which means you will be on the road majority of the time.
Objectives of this role:
- Develop, execute, and oversee a business strategy that prioritizes growth and positive customer ratings
- Maintain positive professional relationships with clients
- Monitor sales progress to ensure that business goals are being met
- Train sales representative and help improve their skills
Some Responsibilities:
- Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
- Conduct research to identify new markets and customers’ needs
- Conduct high-level industry research to develop effective sales solutions
- Promote the company’s products and services to prospective clients
- Arrange business meetings with prospective clients
- Participate in collaborative business meeting to update key stakeholders
Requirements and skills:
- A strong background in business development
- An understanding of powder coating AND/OR have come from an industry relative to aluminium facades and systems.
- Ability to build rapport
- Time management and planning
