The Role:
The Senior Learning and Development Consultant will be
responsible for planning, organising,
and directing a wide range of training
activities within the organisation. This role ensures that employees are
equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles
effectively and to foster a culture of continuous development and improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Learning and development
- Design, develop, and implement training programs
that align with the firm’s strategic goals and objectives, career pathways and growth
needs.
- Conduct training needs assessments to identify
gaps in skills and knowledge, current and future needs and recommend suitable
training solutions.
- Working with partners and team leaders to roll
out and manage bespoke workshops to inform training pathways and approaches.
Effectively communicate the aims, activities, timelines, and outcomes with all
relevant stakeholders.
- Organise and schedule training sessions,
ensuring all logistics are managed efficiently.
- Assess the effectiveness of training programs
through feedback, surveys,
and performance metrics, and make necessary
improvements.
- Work closely with department heads, SMEs, and
external vendors to ensure training programs meet organisational needs.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of
training activities, attendance, and outcomes.
- Develop and implement onboarding programs for
new employees to ensure a smooth transition into the firm.
- Utilise various delivery methods including
in-person, virtual, and blended learning approaches.
- Establish and coordinate mentorship programs to
support employee growth and development.
- Engage with key stakeholders to ensure training
programs meet organisational and employee needs.
- Generate regular reports on training activities,
participation,
and effectiveness for management review.
- Develop and manage training budgets, ensuring
cost-effective use of resources.
Facilitation and coaching
- Provide coaching that aligns with learning needs
assessment.
- Assist in developing resilience and leadership
skills within the firm by delivering dynamic, bespoke workshops and
professional development presentations.
- Working in this client-driven business, assist
leaders in developing awareness to be their best, help them reach their
ultimate potential to grow, change and be extraordinary leaders.
- Co-design, develop, and facilitate interactive
workshops that build emotional resilience, performance under pressure, and
vital leadership skills.
Assist in helping individuals learn in their preferred
way to enhance performance during their training programs and beyond.
Who we are after:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education,
Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in workshop
design, facilitation and delivery
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Learning
Management Systems (LMS).
- Excellent verbal and written communication
skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to
work effectively with diverse teams.
- Exceptional organisational and multitasking
abilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing business needs and
work in a fast-paced environment.
- Certifications in training, instructional
design, or a related field (e.g., Cert IV TAE) would be an advantage.
- Previous experience in a corporate training
environment.
