What you need:
- Proven success in previous sales role: Phone-based, B2B, outbound sales,
account management and client facing roles are all really transferrable to recruitment.
- Experience working with targets or KPI’s: If you have an ambitious and motivated personality to hit goals, you’ll hit the ground running.
- A strong sense of resilience: The traineeship is no walk in the park. There's a lot to learn, lot's of rejection and a lot of effort to pick up momentum in your first 6 months!
- Desire to grow: Our clients are looking for someone who they can invest time and training in as they'll want you to become a successful part of the company. If you're looking for the final pivot in your sales career, you can refine your skills in the recruitment world!
- A clear understanding of how agency recruitment operates, candidates are expected to be able to explain what a "360 Recruitment Process" looks like.
What you've got to do:
- Outbound calls: You'll have to make a high volume of calls to potential candidates (jobseekers) and clients (employers). You'll then manage these leads through email, CRM and scheduled meetings/interviews
- Qualify potential candidates: Vet CVs of applicants, qualify suitable candidates and prepare them for interviews with your clients.
- Build business: You'll be responsible for being an expert in your market and reaching out to potential clients. It's important that you're comfortable with BD outreach, f2f meetings and speaking with high-level stakeholders as this is a major part of the role
- Manage existing relationships: This could be with clients or previously placed candidates of the agency you're with. You'll need to fill the needs of current accounts throughout the year and also work closely with previously placed candidates
