About Health Projects Assurance and Advisory (HPAA):
HPAA is a newly established capability within the Office of the Deputy Director General to provide independent advice and assurance on the delivery of major health projects within the WA health system. HPAA works in collaboration with the Office of Major Health Infrastructure Directorate, Health Service Providers, central agencies, and Government.
HPAA supports the Department of Health’s oversight of a portfolio of major health projects valued over $6.4 billion and spanning more than 120 projects across WA. The work of HPAA currently spans key infrastructure and digital projects from both a project and portfolio perspective.
Position profile: The Principal Program Officer coordinates the delivery of program and risk reporting, tracking progress against plans and agreed budget parameters; tracks risks and issues,
dependencies, and change controls. The Principal Program Officer distils complex information into clear, concise reports, and provides advice to support decisions by management and program governance. We are particularly seeking applicants with interest and relevant experience relating to digital health projects as a specific focus area for HPAA.
