The Role:Working a rotating roster, the Duty Manager assist with overseeing the operations of the Club and ensures customer service standards are maintained across all areas. Reporting to the Assistant Operations Manager, Duty managers are responsible for the following:
Maintain excellent service standards during their shift by leading their teams with a hands-on approachBe responsible for the opening & closing of Club premisesSet up rooms and functions as per daily instructions,Ensure compliance with the Registered Clubs Act,
Liquor Act, Gaming Machines Act and WHS responsibilitiesComplete duties and reporting as RGOComplete daily cash reconciliationComplete a detailed daily shift reportMotivate, train and encourage the team while on shift.Managing the daily roster and the delegation of workflowsMotivate the team to ensure they are providing the best possible serviceFirst point of contact for all front-line staff queries on shiftFirst point of contact for escalated customer queriesAssisting with harm minimisation responsibilities and ensuring customer well-being.Looking after the cleanliness of all areas of the ClubComplete and submit reports on injury,
employee counselling or incidents.Other reasonable duties assigned by senior managersAttend operational meetings as requiredThe successful candidates will: Have impeccable grooming and personal presentation standardsBe a team player and take ownership of your responsibilities while on shiftHave the flexibility to work weekends, public holidays and overnight shifts (we have staff on-site from 8 AM to 1 AM )Be excited to participate in opportunities for further training and developmentTAB and Keno experienceUphold our values: Trust, Respect, Friendliness, and Code of Conduct.
Previous Supervisory and Hospitality experience would be viewed favourably.
