Our Wellbeing, Health & Safety (WHS) team comprises a team of professionals who advise and support our internal businesses in all things health, safety and wellbeing. We strive to empower our leaders and employees to take a proactive approach to the prevention of physical and psychological injury and ill-health with an early intervention and injury management framework,
blending technical skills and strategy to advise our internal functions and teams with spectacular results. And our team is expanding. We’re looking for a Health & Safety Business Partner with a passion for health, safety and wellbeing to help us improve our services and support optimal outcomes for our people, within our vast community of solvers.
Use the know-how you've gained in contemporary health, safety and wellbeing systems and practices. With new problems to solve, you'll have plenty of support and opportunities to grow. We work from anywhere, so your strong communication skills and team ethos will get a workout. You'll learn plenty as you help us build a strong safety culture, through leadership, engagement and safety performance coaching of management and staff, in a workplace that’s human-led and tech-enabled.
As a specialist in health and safety, risk and stakeholder management,
you’ll solve problems by making an impact on our people and business through strategic health and safety advice, coaching and integration of practical, business-led risk management programs. In our Wellbeing, Health & Safety team, you’ll also:
- Be involved in the delivery of our WHS strategy, risk based projects, and initiatives that support learning and continual improvement.
- Provide safety advice, coaching and technical support to the firm’s lines of service to enable continuous improvement in our safety culture and proactive prevention and management of occupational injury and health issues.
- Provide advice to support and empower our leaders to integrate practical and effective safety initiatives to foster healthy and safe work environments and promote safe workplace behaviour.
- Provide specialist advice and guidance to minimise risk for our people, including through risk monitoring, and the coordination of consultation and engagement activities.
- Work across a range of projects, systems and stakeholders within a fast-paced, complex environment.
More information about you
- You have a desire to problem solve and develop best-practice prevention and early intervention strategies, utilise initiative and innovation to achieve positive and sustainable health, safety and wellbeing outcomes for our people.
- You have the capacity to navigate complex problems with high ambiguity where solutions are not defined, and your excellent interpersonal skills enable you to engage and manage stakeholders effectively.
- You are highly motivated and able to self-direct across routine and project based work, with excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
- You have experience across the statutory and regulatory WHS frameworks of all Australian jurisdictions, with an interest in safety innovation and doing safety differently.
- You possess tertiary qualifications in Work Health and Safety or equivalent, and have experience with contemporary health and safety issues.
It’s time to move forward. And upward.
You want to grow, reach new heights and move up the corporate ladder.
We’ll give you a career-boosting role that:
- Is strong on growth and reward
- Has competitive and transparent salary packages with the opportunity for yearly bonuses and promotions
- Helps you learn and grow with our internal Academy, study support,
and partnerships with Udemy and Coursera
- Provides strong mentors, meaningful work and plenty of networking opportunities
- Gives you the chance to explore, with overseas secondments and our Together Anywhere policy that lets you work up to 4 weeks from anywhere in Australia
- Prioritises new families with 26 weeks of parental leave
We're an inclusive bunch, and we try to make life easier - for our clients, our teams and our communities. If you need reasonable adjustments when applying, just let us know.
