About headspace

headspace is the National Youth Mental Health Foundation providing early intervention mental health services to 12-25-year olds.





Our purpose is to build resilience of young people and the future potential of Australia by delivering effective youth mental health services in partnership with young people, their families and their local communities. The headspace Shepparton centre is centrally located in the Shepparton CBD with excellent staff and client facilities.



A comprehensive orientation and learning package is provided to all staff commencing work with the service. Ongoing profession support is provided with access to clinical supervision and professional development opportunities.



About the roleheadspace Shepparton is seeking Youth Access Worker to provide a youth friendly experience for young people, family and friends and referrers who are accessing headspace Shepparton. The role provides brief interventions and supportive counselling to young people. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to develop their skills in youth mental health, work in a vibrant busy centre and be part of an energetic multi-disciplinary team.
