Are you the ultimate planner and diary coordinator? Would you win Olympic Gold for your organisational and stakeholder skills? As our Team Assistant for our Member & Employer Experience division you’ll provide administrative support to our newly appointed Head of Service, as well as assisting the Executive Assistant for the Group Executive on an as needs basis. This role would suit someone looking for a 3-day role, on a part time basis.
What is a Head of Service, I hear you ask? The newest addition to our Member & Employer Experience leadership team, our Head of Service leads our service capability and supporting services (including Contact Centre) of Cbus’ Member and Employer Experience.
Your day to day will be varied,
one moment you could be drafting, coordinating and preparing relevant committee documentation, the next moment you could be scheduling appointments and coordinating diaries. This will include administering room bookings and catering requirements for meetings. Other duties include general diary and travel management, invoicing, arranging meetings, producing regular team management reporting and other general team administration duties and support as required.
We’re looking for that special someone who’ll have a strong understanding of administrative functions, project work and the ability to make well considered administration decisions. You will be a pro-active self-starter with the ability to work autonomously, to prioritise all work, meet deadlines and work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
A key aspect for your success will be your confident interpersonal verbal and written communication skills in connecting with a range of people as well as a friendly proactive approach. In addition, you will need advanced administrative skills and experience gained from a similar role as an EA, PA or senior Team Assistant within a corporate environment. You will also require strong time management and PC skills including an advanced understanding of all products under MS Office suite.
Your ability to liaise at all levels with Executives, senior managers, staff and externally with other organisations and be able to communicate in a confident, credible and comfortable style is essential; teamed with your well-developed verbal and written presentation skills, including the ability to present written work in a clear and concise manner to appeal to a range of audiences. Prior exposure or an interest in Financial Services/Superannuation would be an advantage as would any supporting a team or senior manager within a Contact Centre setting.
