Edith Cowan University is a large, multi-campus institution serving communities nationally and internationally. The University has two metropolitan campuses at Mount Lawley and Joondalup, and also serves Western Australia’s South West Region from a campus at Bunbury, 200 km south of Perth.



The School of Education is the largest provider of teacher education in Australia with in excess of 3,500 students. The School offers a broad range of programs including Early Childhood Studies, Primary, and Secondary Education.



The role







The School’s Accreditation and Governance Officer plays an integral role in supporting the School’s accreditation and reporting requirements with TRB WA/AITSL/ACECQA/DoE WA/ ACER re LANTITE and internal and governance requirements to ensure the School of Education’s professional standing. Broadly, this role undertakes coordination of external accreditation, internal course reviews, and other teaching and learning projects; a background in a similar environment would be an advantage.

Key criteria

The Accreditation and Governance Officer requires a high level of attention to detail, is adept with data management software (e.g. Excel), and is experienced with coordinating time-sensitive projects that have a variety of stakeholders and interdependencies. In addition, the successful candidate will demonstrate:



A commitment to accuracy, with high levels of drive, persistence and sense of accountability



High level digital literacy, with the ability to prepare documentation and reports to a professional standard for internal and external review



Effective stakeholder management skills, demonstrating the building and maintaining of effective relationships in order to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes



Experience with coordinating multiple projects (e.g. managing milestones, reporting on progress, motivating contributors, and identifying risks and escalation points) and strong problem-solving skills



The ability to review and interpret large amounts of data

This full time, ongoing position attracts remuneration of $88,800 - $99,498 pa (HEW 7) plus 17% University superannuation contribution.
