Administration Officer - Emergency Clerk

The Maitland Hospital





Maitland Hospital is a one of four rural referral hospitals in the Hunter New England Health region and covers comprehensive services across medical, rehabilitation, surgical, mental health, dental, renal, maternity and child services, a Level 4 ICU and a 24-hour emergency department.





The role provides consistent, high quality customer service as a person of first contact including, telephone, email enquiries and personal contact with clients and in addition it requires the ability to prepare financial, data reports and correspondence.







You will have excellent communication and customer service skills and have knowledge and understanding of Patient Based Revenue Best Practices.





Maitland is booming in interest from families relocating to the area. With a population approaching 80,000 the region can offer experiences in arts and culture, sport, heritage and indulgences in food, wine and shopping. Maitland is rich in history with striking architecture and home to a closed gaol that was once home to some of Australia’s most hardened and notorious convicts. There are a selection of public and private schools and with a number of new housing developments it is an affordable region that has all the amenities that you need. Within half an hour drive you have the beach, vineyards, airport and Lake Macquarie, but outside your door you have a great community to be a part of.





Employment Type: Permanent Part Time

Position Classification: Administration Officer Level 3

Remuneration: $30.05 - $31.04 per hour
