Abrolhos Adventures are seeking a Full-Time Experienced Deckhand to join our team for upcoming Fishing & Liveaboard Charters at the Abrolhos Islands.
Abrolhos Adventures are a locally owned & operated company running Fishing, Diving & Experience Tours to the incredible Abrolhos Islands.
Our team is hard working, enthusiastic & committed to providing exceptional customer service ensuring our customers enjoy their experience onboard with us.
We are searching for an Experienced Deckhand with a can-do attitude & a passion for the Abrolhos Islands.
This role will expose you to one of the best fishing & scenic locations in the world. Fishing, Diving & Exploring the Islands & its wildlife is all in a day’s work!
The role consists of general deckhand duties, including but not limited to:
- Providing optimal experiences for guests onboard
- Assisting with fishing, including rigging, & filleting
- Offering knowledge & insights to guests about the Abrolhos Islands
- Preparation & maintenance for charters ranging from 1-8 days at a time
- Cooking, cleaning & general galley duties
Job Requirements:
Essential Requirements:
- Previous deckhand experience
- Strong customer service skills
- Can-do attitude
- Capable to work on your own as well as part of a team
- Physically fit
- Good personal hygiene
- Current manual driver’s license
Preferred:
- Coxswains/Skippers ticket
- Fishing/diving experience (Dive Master desirable)
- Abrolhos Island knowledge
- Senior First Aid Certificate (Desirable)
