Are you a qualified Enrolled Nurse looking to be part of a dynamic and innovative team offering experience in all clinical areas within Ipswich Hospital? The Nursing and Midwifery Resource Team (NMRT)
requires experienced health professionals who are willing to work in different clinical areas on regular basis enabling you to gain experience in a variety of clinical settings. The Nursing and Midwifery Resource Team is designed to replace emergent leave thus meeting the hospital's master staffing profiles.
The NMRT Unit operates a seven days, 24 hours. Supports organisational need by providing quality, timely and excellent patient care across all clinical departments / wards of Ipswich Hospital. The successful candidates will have the opportunity to develop and apply an expanded scope of practice by working across both general and specialist clinical environments that deliver patient centred care throughout the organisation.
The successful candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
Contemporary clinical knowledge and specific experience or a passion to learn and work with specific patient groups
High level of communication skills and ability to escalate issues to a Registered Nurse or Registered Midwife.
Self-management skills, displaying flexibility and adapting to unexpected change.
Respect for the unique and diverse needs of patients, families and people delivering quality, safe patient centred care.
Vaccination Preventable Disease
This role is designated as 'Vaccination Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role'. You must be able to provide evidence that you either:
have been vaccinated against the VPD's listed in the role description; or
you are not susceptible to the VPD's listed in the role description.
