LOD (Lawyers On Demand) is an original New Law pioneer. We've transformed the way in which lawyers, consultants, legal, compliance and commercial teams work, and we're one of the largest and fastest growing flexible legal services businesses globally, continuing to lead the market we've created. In short, our mission is to help in-house legal and compliance teams succeed by creating smarter ways of working.
Our people are at the heart of what we do, and for the second year running, we’re proud to be recognised as an Employer of Choice by Australasian Lawyer.
Who are we looking for?
We continue to grow our business in the compliance space and are currently seeking expressions of interest from commercially-minded compliance professionals to join the LOD team to take on full-time or part-time secondments with our impressive base of clients across the financial services and insurance space.
Partnering with our clients, the type of secondment work you could be involved in includes:
- maintaining obligations registers;
- provide risk and/or compliance support on projects including member outcomes, customer complaints, design and distribution;
- pro-actively advising on regulatory risks, reforms, issues and key developments; and
- provide training, reporting and support to the business and other internal stakeholders on regulatory matters, insights and developments.
To join us and to become an LOD, you will be commercially-minded, be adaptable and able to hit the ground running, along with an ability to manage relationships with all levels of a business. You will have a minimum of 5 years' relevant experience and be available to commence a secondment at short notice.
What sets us apart?
The life of an LOD professional is like no other. We provide our team with varied, challenging, career-enhancing work with world-class global brands, and pride ourselves on enabling our people to take control of their career and diversify their experience across a range of industries.
We also take work-life balance seriously. You can work on-site with our clients or remotely, undertake full-time or part-time assignments, or assignments that are simply for set months out of a year – it's your choice! Throughout your LOD journey and the myriad of assignments you will undertake, you will be supported by your LOD colleagues, have access to high quality know-how and training to assist in your ongoing growth and development.
